This project marks the first step toward creating a platformer video game. Starting with concept art and character design, I illustrate the main character in three distinct outfits—casual, military-inspired, and stealth—each hinting at different gameplay scenarios. Additionally, I designed two ranks of enemy bots, Muscle Bots and Special Force Bots, unified by a dark, thrilling visual style.
Using a modular, geometric approach, I broke down each character into separate elements (head, chest, limbs, etc.) and assembled them like a rigging system, allowing for versatile poses and animations. I also created walking, running, crouching, and jumping cycles to bring the characters to life.

STORY FOR CONTEXT
In a dystopian, cyberpunk-inspired world, the protagonist (Player 1) is a rogue operative fighting against a corrupt mega-corporation that has seized control of society. The corporation deploys robotic enforcers—Muscle Bots and Special Force Bots—to maintain order and eliminate dissent.
The game is a mix of platforming, combat, and stealth mechanics, with the player unlocking new abilities and gear as they progress. The Muscle Bots serve as common enemies, while the Special Force Bots act as mini bosses, requiring strategy and skill to defeat.
The story explores themes of resistance, freedom, and the cost of rebellion, with the protagonist’s journey culminating in a climactic showdown against the corporation’s AI overlord.

While the game’s narrative and mechanics remain undefined, this project allowed me to explore 2D animation, refine my design process, and take a step closer to my dream of creating video games.
